This group is for all ladies who love Texas History.  We had our first meeting in August 2019 at the Landmark Inn and had a great time.  We decided to make it official and have an annual conference.  2020 succumbed to Covid, but we will be back! South Texas has a rich, colorful history.  We want to see that rich history passed on to future generations. Our emphasis is on Texas during the 19th Century - Texas Revolution, the Republic of Texas, Statehood, War Between the States, and the Indian Wars, but we are not ruling out having a speaker on the earlier history or even early 20th Century. We want to present well-researched, accurate Texas history and encourage ladies in putting together Period Correct clothing for events.
