Constitutional Carry is scheduled for THURSDAY, March 25th!
We will begin meeting meet at 10:15am at the Texas Capitol in Austin (exact location TBA). We expect the hearing to last for many hours. If you can't be there at 10:15am, come whenever you can.
Whether or not you come in person, be sure to submit written comments online at
The committee hearing will cover all of the Constitutional Carry bills, as well as other bills -- some we strongly support, some we oppose, and some that are not related to guns.
Constitutional Carry bills are:
- HB 1238 by Biedermann
- HB 1911 by White - committee substitute expected to incorproate necessary parts of HB 821
- HB 1927 by Schaefer
- HB 2900 by Hefner
