Job 35:9 "People cry out under a load of oppression; they plead for relief from the arm of the powerful."
The rest of this chapter is Elihu's opinion and not the truth about God and our sins.
We can be thankful that when we cry out we are heard by an even more powerful arm.
Look at tbe Psalmistvs words found at Psalms 46 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging... Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress... He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." {1-3,67,10}
So in the ups and downs of the coming days cry out to the one who can truly save you. And know that while like Job your relief may not be immediate, it may seem like you are surrounded by a growing darkness. There is hope, it is found in Jesus and his work, gift at the cross.
Wait for the salvation of the Lord and be about our Father's business.
Love+Hope+Peace+ Comfort=my prayer for you.
