Job 34:21,22 "His eyes are on the ways of mortals; he sees their every step. There is no deep shadow, no utter darkness, where evildoers can hide."
Sometimes it's easy to think God doesn't see something simply because we can't see immediate response to it.
Children love to push boundaries and test limits. One young man I know is constantly trying to get away with something. And almost every time his parents or siblings catch him at it. His mother tells him "Quit trying to be sneaky. You are no good at it. If God wants you to be sneaky He would make you better at it."
We are often like this child, we think "Well no one will know." or "God hasn't done anything so far 1 more time, no one is being hurt."
We fail to see we are being hurt in these situations. And God will not allow His children to be hurt indefinitely.
He will act in discipline or defense as the case is needed.
Because we also wonder at the times when we are the victims of someone else's sins.
But scripture assures and encourages us, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."Galatians 6:7-10
